Site Instrumenté CO-PDD
Le site instrumenté du Cézeaux-Aulnat-Opme-Puy de Dôme (CO-PDD) est site instrumenté labellisé par l’INSU-CNRS pour l’observation de l’atmosphère et du climat. Il fournit un ensemble de données pour documenter l’évolution de la composition de la troposphère sur le long terme, étudier les processus liant gaz, aérosols, nuages et précipitations aux différentes échelles spatiales et temporelles et estimer l’impact des modifications anthropiques en termes climatique (nuage, rayonnement) et météorologique (précipitations). Il est constitué de la station globale GAW du puy de Dôme (1465 m d’altitude), site d’altitude éloigné de sources de pollution immédiates du site d’Opme (680 m) situé en zone rurale et des sites d’Aulnat (330 m) et des Cézeaux (410 m) situés en zone péri-urbaine, près de Clermont-Ferrand. Il accueille plusieurs services d’observation et est impliqué dans les infrastructures de recherche européennes ACTRIS et ICOS. Des campagnes de mesures spécifiques peuvent y être organisées grâce à sa capacité d’accueil et sa situation géographique.
